When Kōkako Organic Coffee Roasters needed packaging for their rotating single-origin range, they wanted something clever and unique: one universal design that could house any bird, anytime. We created a flexible packaging system, based on the idea of a bird house, that maintains strong brand presence while letting each single tell its own story. Functional on the shelf, distinctive in the hand and the winner of a bronze at the 2023 Best Awards.

Brand Maintenance
We’re a creative design studio with a simple ethos: do good work for good people.
We’re graphic designers who understand all the things that come under that umbrella, from brand identities to packaging design to digital experiences.
Our clients are big, small and everything in between. But they all appreciate great design and working with a friendly, responsive team. We take their business needs seriously — without getting too serious.
Our approach is pretty simple. We listen, we explore, then we show you the possibilities. We work with you to decide the right creative direction to take, then we bring it to life in any way you need. And we don’t check out once the exciting bits are done — we give every part of your job our full attention.
We’ve worked on brands of every size, in all kinds of industries. We love working on hospitality brands and clients who are into social good. We also love nutting out unusual business problems or helping new startups work out what they’re all about.
We approach each branding exercise with an open mind. We love to ask questions and understand a brands needs and unique attributes — so every brand name, story, logo and experience is distinctive and connects with your target audience.
